    1、 Precautions for Maintenance of DC High Voltage Generator:

    1. Prevent foreign objects from entering the control box. If the control box has a fan, check if the fan is running properly. reach

    2. Check the dust prevention devices at all locations. If there is any damage or loose connection, it should be dealt with in a timely manner to prevent sand and dust from entering and damaging the equipment. reach

    3. When the insulation tube of the multiplier is dirty, please wipe it clean with a dry cloth. Do not use organic solvents such as alcohol or gasoline to scrub. It can be cleaned with a cleaning agent.

    4. When replacing the fuse, please replace the fuse according to the current value calibrated next to the fuse holder. reach

    5. Please do not open the control box and voltage doubler without authorization, otherwise it will affect the product warranty. reach

    6. The instrument should be shockproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, and corrosion-resistant. reach

    7. Regularly check the voltage and current meters to ensure their accuracy.2、 Precautions for Testing DC High Voltage Generator

    1. Before testing, check whether the test object, DC high voltage generator, voltage doubler, discharge rod, grounding wire, and test object connection wire are well connected, and check whether the grounding wire is connected correctly. reach

    2. The high-voltage output wiring must be firm to prevent the high-voltage leads from falling off during testing, and direct discharge to ground may damage the instrument. During high-voltage testing, sufficient safety distance must be maintained between surrounding objects and personnel.

    3. Install two obvious disconnect points before entering the tester with the working power supply. When replacing the tested product and wiring, the disconnection point of the working power supply should be clearly marked;

    4. During the cable withstand voltage test, the voltage rise process should be uniform and slow, and the voltage drop process should also be uniform and slow. At the same time, a protective water resistor should be added to the high-voltage output terminal. Otherwise, reverse voltage may damage the instrument. reach

    5. When discharging a large capacitor sample, it is necessary to discharge the sample through a 100 Ω/V discharge resistor rod. During the discharge process, the discharge rod should not immediately come into contact with the test product. The discharge rod should gradually approach the product under test and maintain a certain distance from the air. The gap begins to separate and is emitted with a hissing sound. When there is no sound, the grounding terminal of the discharge rod can be used to discharge, and finally the grounding wire can be directly discharged;

    6. When the DC high voltage of the DC high voltage generator is 200KV or above, although the tester is wearing insulated shoes and is located outside the safe distance, it will be affected by the distribution of the high-voltage DC ion space electric field, which will cause different DC potentials to wear out in several nearby stations. Testers are not allowed to shake hands or touch the grounding point with their hands. Otherwise, there may be slight electric shock. This phenomenon is more pronounced in dry areas and winter, but due to its low energy, it generally does not cause harm to humans;

    7. After the experiment is completed, the discharge rod should be used multiple times to discharge the test object. After complete discharge, the test object can be approached for subsequent disassembly operations. reach

    8. The interval between two tests (referring to the shutdown time) should not be less than 5 minutes to ensure that the instrument receives sufficient heat dissipation.
